Clinical Associate Professor Consultant Paediatrician in Refugee Health and General Paediatrics, Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH), Western Australia (WA).

Clinical Associate Professor Mutch is a specialist paediatrician with recognised RACP qualifications across three disciplines: general paediatrics, respiratory medicine and community paediatrics. Raewyn is a Ngai Tahu woman and completed her primary medical degree through the University of Otago, New Zealand. Raewyn has a proven track record of clinical and research work, teaching, advocacy, education and CPD resource development among culturally and linguistically diverse families, neurodevelopment and justice disciplines. Raewyn has utilised the research methodology of exploring knowledge attitudes and practices, to determine then close identified gaps in services and care. Raewyn has translating research outcomes to improve the social and emotional wellbeing of individuals and their communities national for some of our most vulnerable neighbours, in hard to reach places, advocating for their rights and equity from the domains of health and law. Raewyn completed the Harvard Certificate in Global Mental Health: Trauma and Recovery (HPRT) in 2015-2016, went on to complete masterclasses in 2018 and 2019 and is joining the HPRT Faculty for their 2019-2020 Certificate course from November this year.
