Campaigns we support
Act for children
A non-partisan coalition of health, education, legal and human rights organisations united to put children at the heart of national decision-making — including a dedicated Commonwealth minister responsible for children’s wellbeing and rights.
Keep nuclear weapons out of Australia
Led by the Medical Association for Prevention of War (MAPW), this campaign calls on Australia to join the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons and reject nuclear proliferation — because peace is a public health priority.
Raise the age NSW
In NSW, children as young as 10 can be charged, prosecuted and imprisoned. This campaign is working to raise the minimum age of criminal responsibility to at least 14 — because children belong in classrooms, not courtrooms.
Raise the age — Australia
Nearly 600 children aged 10–13 are locked in Australian prisons each year, with First Nations children disproportionately affected. This national campaign calls on all governments to raise the age to at least 14 and invest in community-led alternatives.
